Bell Pottinger puts charge into LapCabby’s profile

17.07.2009

The campaign will be delivered by Macclesfield-based Bell Pottinger North, the North's biggest public relations consultancy.

Bell Pottinger North will use media relations to highlight that, while being the most cost effective product on the market, LabCabby is as feature-rich, robust and secure as products costing two to three times as much.

"As laptop and netbook prices have fallen, schools have been attracted to the flexibility these computers offer versus traditional desktop PCs," said Bell Pottinger North director, John Butters.

"But this flexibility comes with a price - the laptops need to be managed to ensure that they are secure, that they are properly charged and that power leads are safe in the classroom.

"LapCabby provides the cost-effective solution to the safe and efficient management of laptops in the classroom. The devices house between ten and 40 computers and more than 8,000 of them are already used in classrooms across Britain."

Innovative features of the LapCabby include a Green power management system, an effective dual point locking system and keys that operate from the top of the unit to prevent them snapping when the device is bumped into walls.

LapCabby's excellent cable management and power system is housed in a separate compartment to keep it well away from children, providing a level of safety beyond that of other products in the market.
