Waitrose partners with Bell Pottinger North
27.02.2009
The Consultancy will be working closely with Waitrose to engage
with local communities and seek feedback that will be used to
support planning applications for new Waitrose shops. The campaigns
will incorporate a wide range of activities, including strategic
advice, organising exhibitions and liaison with key stakeholders,
such as councillors, residents, community groups and local
businesses.
James Armstrong, property and development
communications manager for Waitrose said: "Bell Pottinger North has
worked with us on a number of projects and demonstrated a clear
understanding of planning procedures. The team's experience has
played an integral role in us achieving successful applications and
their approach has been well received by both our property team and
the people we engage with."
Deborah Garritty, director at Bell Pottinger North added: "We're
looking forward to further developing our relationship with
Waitrose and adding value to their in-house communications team.
It's great to be working with a retailer that has one of the best
reputations in the country and to be playing our part in its
ambitious plans for growth."
Waitrose is one of a growing number of clients in Bell Pottinger
North's property, planning and construction portfolio. The
Consultancy also provides communications advice to companies
including The Duchy of Lancaster, Arley Homes, The Russell Group
and Sandtoft Roof Tiles.
