Bell Pottinger bolsters team with new appointment

Bell Pottinger North, part of the UK's most successful public relations group, has strengthened its property, planning and construction team with the appointment of Mike Blakeney.

24 year-old Mike has joined the Macclesfield-based agency as an account executive and will be responsible for handling a range of clients including the Duchy of Lancaster and Waitrose.

Director, Zoe Ensor said: "In order to ensure the agency continues to succeed we need the right calibre of people and Mike has the skills and experience to deliver great results for our property and planning division clients.  I'm delighted to welcome Mike to the team and look forward to working with him."

Prior to joining the agency Mike worked for Camargue PR in London where his clients included the National Grid, Morrisons and BT Property. He has previously worked on national political campaigns and was vice president of his Students' Union.
