Co-operative Energy appoints Bell Pottinger North

New-to-the-market Co-operative Energy has appointed Bell Pottinger North to handle its launch PR.

Bell Pottinger North, the biggest public relations company in the north and part of the Bell Pottinger Group, was appointed by the energy provider following a competitive pitch.

Co-operative Energy, which is run by Midcounties Co-operative,  the third largest co-operative in the UK, unveiled its new product which promises fair pricing and practice for customers this week.

Co-operative Energy's Nigel Mason said of the appointment: "We were keen to partner with a PR consultancy that understood our values and had a network with national reach. Bell Pottinger North has both the experience and the creative edge to help us achieve those goals.

Bell Pottinger North Director Zoe Ensor, who heads up the consumer division and is leading the account, said:" We are delighted to be launching Co-operative Energy.
