Bell Pottinger North supports Institute of Water membership drive
19.10.2010
Bell Pottinger, Britain's top ranking public relations group, is
to help raise awareness of the Institute of Water as the
organisation looks to increase membership through the introduction
of new services and a higher profile.
The campaign will be overseen by consultancy director John Butters
at the Macclesfield office of Bell Pottinger North.
"Our challenge is to help the Institute of Water gain greater
recognition as the only professional body that is dedicated to
helping people working in the UK water industry by providing
learning development and networking opportunities," he said.
"The Institute has a 65-year history and we look forward to
helping it modernise and developing its reputation as the face of
people working in the UK water industry."
The Institute of Water, which recently changed its name from IWO,
offers a unique and independent learning, development and
networking framework. And it plans to develop a range of additional
services over the coming months.
These will include the launch of a structured pathway towards
professional qualifications and, building on the body's valuable
networking events, social media that will help people make
connections and share best practice.
Bell Pottinger North, based in Macclesfield, is the largest public
relations consultancy in the north of England. It also has offices
in Leeds and Liverpool.
