Cheadle Hulme land acquisition for Arley Homes
19.04.2011
Knightswood Square will be built on the site of the former Royal
British Legion club on the corner of Turves Road and Cheviot
Avenue, overlooking Maple Park and just a five-minute stroll from
Bruntwood Park. Site preparation and construction is already
underway on a range of 12 three-and four-bedroom townhouses,
four-bedroom link detached and five-bedroom detached properties,
designed with families in mind.
Situated in South Manchester's affluent 'stockbroker belt', this
suburban location has great access to both the motorway network and
Manchester city centre via the A34, and the range of schools and
other amenities this aspirational neighbourhood has to offer. The
shops and restaurants of Cheadle Hulme town centre are just minutes
away while buyers will also have all the benefits of the stunning
Cheshire countryside not 15 minutes from their front door.
This is the latest new site acquired by the Warrington-based
developer, which has continued to invest throughout the recession,
supported by strong sales across the portfolio. Following planning
approval for a 135-home development in Chorley in February (Duxbury
Manor) and a bespoke 13-property scheme in Preston in January (The
Maples), the housebuilder now has four new developments under
construction across the region. This also includes 12 stunning
detached properties at Dunham Chase in Altrincham and 28 delightful
homes at The Birches in Charnock Richard, which is set for
completion and show home launch next month.
John Cosgrave, managing director of Arley Homes, is delighted with
the company's successful track record in acquiring both land and
securing planning permissions, and looks forward to 'delivering for
the people of Cheadle Hulme'. He said: "Nothing is very new in the
housing market. People have always wanted to live in high quality
accommodation located in desirable neighbourhoods and with access
to good facilities such as schools, healthcare and transport
links.
"Knightswood Square will meet all of these criteria and will also
provide a choice of well designed, expertly crafted homes to suit a
variety of different homebuyers and their lifestyles. We look
forward to showing the people of Cheadle Hulme what we can do and
exactly why our buyers trust Arley to deliver the homes they want
to live in, in the places in which they want to live and bring up
their families."
Buyers are currently able to purchase Arley Homes properties at
The Meadows in Coppull; and off plan at The Birches in Charnock
Richard; Dunham Chase in Altrincham, and The Maples in Fulwood.
Homes at Duxbury Manor, Chorley, and Knightswood Square, Cheadle
Hulme, will be launched for sale off plan before the end of the
year.
Arley Homes' buyers can benefit from a range of deals including
part exchange, assisted sale, stamp duty and five per cent deposit
paid, subject to terms and conditions. For more information about
