Thwaites Shire Horses Get Show-Stopping New Box

The famous Thwaites shire horses were this week trying out their new specially re-enforced horsebox for size with a trip to the Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court, London.

The award-winning Shire horses Daniel and Bomber, travelled in style to the show where visitors had the chance to meet the famous heavy-weight stars.

The brand new horse box is part of Daniel Thwaites revamped fleet of distribution vehicles and major investment programme. It features the new Thwaites logo and an exclusive, specially commissioned illustration depicting the story of Thwaites brewery including the famous Shire horses.

Chief executive Rick Bailey said: "Our horses have been at the heart of the business for over 200 years. We're proud of our horses and heritage and the investment in to the new horse box signifies how important the Shire horses are to the future of Daniel Thwaites.

"We hope that people will look out for them around the UK on their many tours."
