THWAITES UNVEILS NEW QUARTERLY FAVOURITES RANGE FOR 2012
21.11.2011
Lancashire-based brewer Thwaites has revealed a new Quarterly
Favourites range for 2012, a quartet of fine ales tailored for the
seasons.
The choice of the four beers has been heavily influenced by
customer feedback, sales and beer reviews received from the
nineteen different Signature Ales created by Thwaites across 2011.
They also reflect the changing taste and styles of beer now in
vogue with today's cask ale drinker.
First of the foursome, available in Thwaites pubs from January
is Triple C, a 4.2% ABV beer brewed exclusively with Cascade hops
across the three brewing stages giving it a definite grapefruit
citrus taste.
Just in time for April showers and the Easter holidays is Fine
Rain, golden in colour the 4.1% ABV ale offers drinkers a light,
zesty and malty flavour with a marmalade fruity finish. And for
ultimate summertime refreshment there will be Half Nelson, a
distinctive and hoppy 4.4% ABV pale ale, full of tropical fruit
flavours. Perfect for those long, hot summer evenings.
Completing the line-up is Crafty Devil, a reddish 4.3% ABV beer,
with a full malt flavour and balanced and lingering hop finish.
This tasty tipple will lift the spirits of drinkers throughout the
dark autumn nights.
Lee Williams, marketing manager of Thwaites said: "The Quarterly
Favourites do exactly what they say on the tin and we know they
will be well received as our drinkers have already told us how much
they enjoyed them during 2011.
"Personally I can't wait for Half Nelson, which uses the
aromatic and fruity Nelson Sauvin hop which makes up half of the
hops in this wonderful brew."
