Thwaites Brews Exclusively for M&B IPA Festival
11.08.2011
Lancashire-based brewer Daniel Thwaites has gone back to its
roots to brew an exclusive IPA for the Mitchells & Butlers IPA
Festival.
Dan's IPA, named after the brewery's famous founder Daniel
Thwaites, will feature at
the first ever M&B IPA Festival which runs from 22 August-4
September.
Featuring four of the finest hop varieties combined to create a
refreshingly bitter
taste, Dan's IPA is one of over 20 IPAs to be brewed exclusively
for the festival.
Goldings and Fuggles provide the aroma combined with Bramling
Cross and Styrian hops
that lend the beer its distinct refreshing flavour to complement
the characteristic
IPA bitter notes.
The 4.6% ABV will be available at Mitchells & Butlers
outlets taking part in
the festival including Nicholsons, Ember Inns, Castle and Vintage
Inns.
Lee Williams, marketing manager of Thwaites said: "It's great
for Thwaites to be part of the IPA Festival and to be showcased as
part of over 20 of the very best IPAs the UK has to offer.
"We're extremely proud of Dan's IPA which has been created
exclusively as an additional beer in our Signature Range, which is
really starting to capture the imagination of our
customers and drinkers alike."
