Building the Catalyst brand

Health : Catalyst Healthcare (Manchester) Ltd

Catalyst was formed to manage the £500m Central Manchester University Hospitals project from construction and into operation. Building four large hospitals on a 64-acre site in Manchester was an extremely complex process and was one of the biggest healthcare Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) investments in the UK. Catalyst hired BPN to provide 24x7 crisis communications and to proactive media support throughout the duration of the construction phase of the project.

Save a Million Years of Life

Health : NHS East Lancashire

East Lancashire suffers greatly from health inequalities. To address this serious issue, it launched a campaign to ‘Save a Million Years of Life’ (SMYL). The campaign aimed to achieve its target by improving the health of the 382,000 residents in East Lancashire, by reducing alcohol misuse, chronic heart disease, drug abuse, smoking, infant mortality and geographic inequalities.
